May Newsletter
This May, as we observe Mental Health Awareness Month, we are reminded that behind every statistic is a person — a neighbor, a colleague, a family member — who deserves compassion, access to care, and the freedom to speak openly about their struggles without fear of judgment.
Mental health is not a luxury — it is a cornerstone of individual well-being and thriving communities. Yet millions of people across our country still face significant barriers to care, from lack of affordable services to the persistent weight of stigma that keeps so many silent.
That is why non profit work matters. This month, and every month, we stand alongside those navigating their mental health journey — offering resources, fostering safe conversations, and advocating for the systemic changes that make equitable care possible for all.
