YOUTH EMPOWERMENT DAY
Date: Tuesday, September 29th
Time: 12PM to 1:15PM (Set up at 11:30am)
Location: Outdoors at the Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Road, Pottstown
The program designed to help regional nonprofits find student volunteers (or student participation in your programming) is back! On Tuesday, September 29th at 9:30am up to 120 students from the regional high schools will gather at the Althouse Arboretum (1794 Gilbertsville Road, Pottstown) for a day of service learning and volunteer training. They will be searching for volunteer opportunities and programs.
We are inviting all nonprofits to set up and staff a display table between Noon and 1:30 to meet prospective participants and tell them about the great work you are doing. You can then select your volunteers. TABLES WILL BE PROVIDED.
