Time: 12PM to 1:15PM (Set up at 11:30am) Location: Outdoors at the Althouse Arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Road, Pottstown The program designed to help regional nonprofits find student volunteers (or student participation in your programming) is back! On Tuesday, September 29th at 9:30am up to 120 students from the regional high schools will gather at the Althouse Arboretum (1794 Gilbertsville Road, Pottstown) for a day of service learning and volunteer training. They will be searching for volunteer opportunities and programs. We are inviting all nonprofits to set up and staff a display table between Noon and 1:30 to meet prospective participants and tell them about the great work you are doing. Insurance is one of the most important tools nonprofits have to protect their people, programs, assets, and mission – but it can also be one of the least understood areas of nonprofit leadership. This session will help nonprofit senior and executive leaders better understand the insurance coverage, risk management practices, and key decision points most relevant to nonprofit organizations. Through a moderated panel with insurance experts, participants will gain practical insight into common coverage gaps, emerging risks, cost pressures, claims considerations, and the questions leaders should be asking as they review their organization’s insurance needs. This session is not about becoming an insurance expert. It is about knowing enough to ask stronger questions, identify potential gaps, and make sure your organization’s coverage keeps pace with your work.

No one hands you a rulebook on how to move from middle to senior management. As a middle manager, you’re the expert at directing a program or running a department. Gain a better understanding of your own strengths and challenges related to delegation. Strengthen your skills in reading financial statements, building an organizational budget, and developing financial scenarios; Practice vetting processes that will help your organization assess the viability of new partnerships and growth opportunities; and Explore potential paths in your career’s development.
