The TriCounty Community Network (TCN) brings together more than 90 agencies, businesses and individuals in our local community to problem solve on community needs.  The organization’s name may not be immediately recognizable, however the “behind the scenes” work of TCN is highly visible through the community projects and programs it fosters, as well as the support services provided to nonprofit organizations greatly impacting the Greater Pottstown community.  TCN works to build the capacity of area nonprofits by providing numerous support services and benefits that help organizations better serve their stakeholders.  TCN also provides resources and partnership opportunities designed to solve community issues that cannot be solved by one organization alone.

What We Do:

TCN supports the community in a variety of ways.

  • Helping nonprofits and small businesses in the community. TCN provides nonprofit organizations and small businesses with support services, training, and networking opportunities.  TCN is a membership organization, similar to a Chamber of Commerce, that provides benefits and support for organizations and businesses.
  • Boots on the Ground: actively problem solving in the community.    TCN houses multiple committees that develop and implement projects and programs that address various community needs including:  workforce, youth empowerment, domestic violence and abuse, elder care, environmental sustainability, health and wellness, housing and homelessness.  In addition to active committees, TCN pulls together collaborations and partnerships to address issues impacting our region.

  • TCN develops community through adaptive, accountable leadership.

Problem Solving On Community Needs Through Collaboration

TriCounty Community Network (TCN) continues to find new and better ways for organizations, agencies, businesses and the greater community to work together to solve community issues that cannot be solved by one group alone. TCN is particularly interested in meaningful and sustainable community program development and implementation, capacity building support for local non-profit organizations and facilitation of partnership to impact change in the region. TCN serves the community, reaching 10 miles outside of the Borough of Pottstown.  The organization supports Western and Central Montgomery Counties, as well as Eastern Berks and Northern Chester Counties.
